Back in the Saddle Again...

So I keep going back and forth on whether I want to keep my blog or not. It has been like the pile of laundry I've been ignoring that keeps stacking up my bedroom wall. It's not like I can ignore it forever, eventually you've got to roll up your sleeves and do something about it. Plus, I'm getting tired of my family complaining about seeing Madison's baptism post. As much as they love her, they are hoping for something new and not getting it. Hhhm, there seems to be a pattern here. (I'm blaming my lack of motivation for everything in my life on the darn Ithaca weather! But in the same breath I love Ithaca this time of year, but that will be for a future post.) So after much pleading from my mom and the fact that we live so far away from family, I am recommitting myself to this thing. So here we go...

And why not start with showing off my new do. My darling, talented friend, Roo, cut my hair for me about a month ago. She did an amazing job, and I don't think my cheesy self-snapshot does it justice. She knows just how to do short hair...and that's a big thing! I was able to donate about 8-9" to Pantene. I always love cutting my hair. I've never been one of those people that gets attached to my hair, and I think it's fun to switch it up a bit.

On a side note...after I had cut my hair, a couple of my friends and I got into a discussion about, if you think you get treated different with short or long hair. What do you think? Do you feel like you get treated differently?

So cute! I hope to get brave someday, one bad hair cut in sixth grade and I never recovered! So I would have no clue if there is a difference in treatment.

Love the hair, but it make you look sooo skinny. I love what ever you do with your hair. But you know that I would have wanted even shorter. Pickie cut.... And I'm so glad that you have recovered, because it help with you being away from us. Hugs and kisses....Mom

It looks beautiful (but then again, so did your long hair). Lucky you!

I am intrigued by the idea that you are treated differently...

well I am one of those who gets "attached" to the hair, the last time I chopped mine I hated it. I made Bub swear to me he'd talk me out of it if I ever got the itch again. But you pull it off very very well. I obviously therefore wouldn't have any idea about the treatment but I also am very intrigued...do you think people treat you differently? like your older or younger or something?
