Lately...

We've had a lot going on the last couple of weeks. Here just a little bit of what we've been doing...

My beautiful, baby (not so baby anymore) girl turned 8 last week. She is so funny, creative, sensitive, smart, and full of personality. I love that she is so girly, yet can play with the boys. She is always making something like cards, jewelry, purses, and she even designed her cake. She amazes me everyday and makes me wonder what I did to deserve a daughter like her. She has such a wise soul about her. Miss Maddy, the world is at your fingertips! We love our Maddy bug!

Father & Son's camp out...need I say more?! Obviously they had a ball.

This weekend we decided to go to Cedar Pointe (An amusement park in Ohio). It was such a great park. Tons of crazy rides and very family friendly. I had to laugh at the picture above. Chase was the only one in line for this ride, and to top it off, the guy working "Frog Hopper" didn't even know how to work it, so Chase just bounced about a foot off the ground. Chase looks pretty amused, doesn't he?

We decided to give "Frog Hopper" a go again, this time with Max. As you can see it was a little more successful.

This is the only shot I have with the three of them. Not the best picture, but at least we had a good time making lots of fun family memories!

Chase's 4th Birthday

My cute, little Chase bug turned four last week and what a difference a year makes. He still has chocolate on his face, and his sweet smile, but my little guy doesn't look so little anymore. Can you believe the bottom picture was taken only a year ago?

Madison wanted to make him a present. She is my creative girl and can whip a craft out in a minute. So sweet!

Lucky for me he wanted a worm cake...pretty easy! We love our little guy. He is so funny and always cracks us up. He's so independent and loves to be outside. He says and does things so nonchalant...just like an old man that has been around for years. I love that he still snuggles in and wraps his scrawny, little arms around me, puts his nose to my nose and says, "Mmmooommm!" We are so grateful he is part of our family.

Bermuda

Clint had a conference that he was participating in that just happened to be in Bermuda..not too shabby huh! So of course I jumped at the chance to tag along. He was in meetings most of the day, so I made my way to the beach to nap, read, nap again, and enjoy my days in the sun. We were still able to spend time together at night and go for morning jogs along the beach trails. It was absolutely beautiful. The water was crystal clear and the sand was white, almost as white as us. I think we were the whitest people on the beach.

The hotel we stayed at even had it's own private beach. As I was snapping a shot at our beach, I accidentally happened to get a shot of some sexy, man wading in the water...oh wait, that's my husband...lucky me! Bay Watch here we come...he just needs to be running in slow motion.

Here's the famous lighthouse on the island. We were able to walk up and look out around the top. My fear of heights made me weak in the knees and I barely made it down the hundred flights of steps down.

The tropical flowers were amazing. This is just one of them that I loved. Oh, and we got to see the most beautiful bright tropical fish. It's pretty neat seeing them in their own environment.

Here's our lizard friend that happened to cross our path.
Overall the trip was awesome!!! A HUGE thanks to my mom and grandma that came out to watch our little skids. I only wish I would have gotten pictures of them. My kids were in heaven not only having one, but two grandma's to spoil them. Seriously they are the BEST and I LOVE them dearly. XOXOXO to you both!
