Madison's Baptism

Our little, Miss Maddy was baptized a couple of week ago on the banks of the Susquehanna River, where the Priesthood was restored. A lot of family and friends came to celebrate her special day. She was even baptized with her cousin, Timothy, whose family drove across the country for the occasion. It was a beautiful day that we will always remember. Madison said it felt like a light bulb had burst inside her tummy the minute she came out of the water. She is such a special girl and so close to the spirit. Her testimony of the Savior is growing everyday. I am so proud of her.
On a side note...I am finding it so hard to blog lately. I don't know if it's the summer and we are so busy, or the fact that I'm just feeling blah about it. I still love to blog stalk people and read all of your blogs...so even though I'm being a slacker...keep posting. Hopefully I'll get out of my funk soon enough!
Oh, and if my cute family and friends feel bad I don't have pictures of you posted, please know that I love you and am grateful you were there. I am just being lazy and didn't want to do a long post.

Wow, what a milestone! First child baptized. Congratulations to Maddy. And to you and Clint. Sounds like you have done a great job in raising her thus far. Such a sweet girl. We can't wait to come back and see you guys. We'll be sitting in our apartment in a week!

Ohh I so loved it when Darbs was baptised there. It was super special. Bethan was most disappointed she had to be baptised in the chapel font and that we couldnt fly all the way to America and have her baptised in the Susquehanna too!!!!! You have just reminded me that I havent even blogged Bethan's baptism photos (of which there are about 4!) I was too busy holding the towel and holding her hand!

What an awesome experience! I can hardly believe that you've got one old enough to be baptized. Madison is an adorable little girl and so fortunate to have you as her mother. Your family is so stinkin' cute!

What a cool experience. Maddy is amazing! She is a little girl that understands and will appropriate how special this experience is for her. If I ever get a girl I want a Maddy.
